AI Assurance Certificate
The certificate is what a counterparty, a client, an auditor or a supervisor can actually be handed. It is deliberately narrow. It says what was assured, against what, under what conditions, by whom, and when it stops being true.
A Cabier certificate is a statement of assurance performed against evidence. It is not a regulatory approval, a licence or a warranty of future behaviour.
What it carries
Subject
The system, agent or workflow assured, named with its version.
Scope
What was in scope, and expressly what was not. A certificate without exclusions is not credible.
Authority envelope
The declared authority the subject held at the time of assurance.
Jurisdictions
The regimes the assurance was performed against.
Evaluation results
Disposition per test class, with the independence attestation.
Conditions
Any constraint the subject operates under, with owner and expiry.
Evidence references
Vault identifiers so a reader can go behind the statement.
Accountable owner
The named person who accepted the residual position.
Validity
The date it was issued, the date it lapses, and what invalidates it earlier.
What invalidates it
A certificate that survives a version change is a marketing document. These events end it automatically and trigger re-assurance.
