Automation has moved the cost of collecting evidence close to zero. It has not moved accountability anywhere at all. Every run here is evaluated against the seven Trust Gates before its result is allowed to stand, and the gate readings decide the disposition: auto-attested where nothing turned on judgement, held for a named human where something did, void where a gate failed.
How the disposition is decided
The failure condition is written before the run, not after it
Where the method is enquiry or observation, the agent assembles the record and stops: an opinion is a human act. Where evidence arrives from outside the vault with no lineage, the data gate raises a condition and the result is held. Where an exception is found and one exception is itself the finding, the conclusion goes to the accountable owner by construction. Nothing in that sequence depends on how a reviewer feels on the day.
